- DESCRIPTION:The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make a non-competitive award to Geoprobe Systems in Salina, KS for the purchase of Geoprobe Model 7822DT Soil Probing unit, two speed auger head attachment, overhead mast with hydraulic winch, drop rack system, hydraulic liner extruder and kit, remote track drive controller-wired, nitrogen charge kit, 1.5" accessory tool system, sampling system, groundwater sampling system, probe rod system, enclosed transport trailer, and unit delivery and training. Geoprobe Systems is the only known source for this requirement because of its sole proprietorship over the technology and equipment required. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). FAX response to 703.648.7367 or email to: jwatson1@usgs.gov.
