- Project Information: The project consists of maintenance dredging of approximately 1,050,000 cubic yards of unclassified material from Charleston Entrance Channel, Charleston County, SC. Material shall be deposited in the ocean dredged material disposal site (ODMDS) for that project. The work includes providing a disposal area report and complying with requirements of the Endangered Species Act and Marine Mammals Protection Act. The order of magnitude for this effort is estimated between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This solicitation is unrestricted. Contractor must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of this solicitation. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet. No CD-ROMS or hardcopy documents will be distributed. Bidders must be registered in the CCR and at the Federal Business Opportunity Homepage (www.fbo.gov) in order to view or download the solicitation documents. It is the responsibility of bidders to monitor the website for notices and amendments. This solicitation will be posted on or about 22 September 2009 with bids due 21 October 2009 at 2:00 pm EST.
