- Description
- The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items necessary to accomplish landscape improvements in various locations as defined in the Statement of Work at McGuire Air Force Base NJ. This is a commercial acquisition. This solicitation is a request for quote and is issued as a 100% HUBZone Set Aside under the Standard Industrial Classification Code 0782, NAICS Code - 561730 and the related small business standard - $7.0M. The contract will be a purchase order. The proposed performance period requires the contractor to accomplish all work within 30 calendar days of contract award date. A site visit is tentatively scheduled for 22 September 2009. If you are planning to attend the site visit, and in order to ensure access to McGuire AFB, prior coordination with the 87th Contracting Squadron is mandatory not later than 21 September 2009. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) in order to transact business with the Department of Defense (DoD). Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the CCR may result in the delay of award of contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in the CCR at the time of award. Solicitation will be issued on or about 17 September 2009. The offer due date will be stated in the solicitation. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the FedBizOpps (EPS) website at http://www.fedbizops.gov. The solicitation can be accessed by following the links on the EPS website to: USAF Offices, Air Mobility Command, 87 CONS. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to this solicitation.
