- RECOVERY -- THIS AWARD NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. This three part project is located at Benton, IL. This project is to repair (where required) and overlay asphalt roads and parking lots. Repair and modernize camp pad parking areas in South Marcum Campground; add Gate Attendant/Host Campsites; and design, prepare Plans and Specifications for the 3 phases of the Rend Lake Bike Trail at U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rend Lake Project. Plans and Specifications will be developed to complete the three phases of Rend Lake Bike Trail from the Sandusky Bridge through North Sandusky Recreation Area to Illinois Highway 154; from South Marcum Boat Ramp to the entrance of the old North Marcum Campground and from the Rend City Road across Illinois Highway 154 to the Gun Creek Road. Contractor will construct the Sandusky to route 154 section and South Marcum Boat Ramp to Green Heron Pond Parking Lot. In accordance with section 803 evaluation requirements, the evaluation consensus board (using the evaluation criteria identified in the RFP), determined Cherokee General Corporation as the best value contractor to perform the services.
