- The 355th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole-source procurement action with BIO-RAD Laboratories for the procurement of the following items: All materials, labor, tools, and transportation needed to furnish the following: Analyzer Controls for the Laboratory Flight at 355 Medical Group, Davis Monthan Air Force Base. Controls are used to validate laboratory analyzer and it is necessary to have a drop shipment in place to ensure continuity of results for patien care. 0001: 360 Liquichek Immunoassay Plus, Trilevel 12x5ml (Qty 20 ea) 0002: 740 Lyphochek Diabetes, Bilevel 6x0.5ml (Qty 20 ea) 0003: C-310-5 Lyphochek Chemistry Assayed, Level 1 12x5ml (Qty 12 ea) 0004: C-315-5 Lyphochek Chemistry Assayed, Level 2 12x5ml (Qty 12 ea) 0005: 220-01010 D-10 Reorder Pack, 400 test (Qty 18 ea) 0006: 544 Liquicheck Ethanol/Ammonia Control level 1 6x3ml (Qty 20 ea) 0007: 544 Liquicheck Ethanol/Ammonia Control level 2 6x3ml (Qty 20 ea) *Shipping shall be in two equal distributions. Period of Performance: 1 October 2009 through 30 September 2010. This requirement is conducted under FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Requirement. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms who want to challenge the sole source must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm's ability to provide an equivalent supply as described above. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. All interested firms must respond to RFP number FA4877-09-Q-0055 by Wednesday, 23 September 2009, 1:00 PST to A1C David Maida, 355th Contracting Squadron, 3180 S Craycroft Rd. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The 355th Contracting Office will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information.
