Description
Statement of Work - Satellite Imagery Collection This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. It is the government's intention to award this requirement using FAR Subpart 13.5 procedures. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The incorporated provision and clauses contained within this solicitation document are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-36, effective 10 September 2009. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered. Prospective offerors must be CCR registered and must complete the ORCA on-line representation or provide a copy of their representation and certification as required by FAR Clause 52.212-3. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541370 and the small business size standard is $4.5M. 1. DESCRIPTION: This requirement is for the collection of approximately 17,000 square kilometers of satellite imagery of approximately 142 Expeditionary locations. The objective of this SOW is for the Contractor to provide necessary professional services to support GIS regional map layers and achieve IGI&S IOC and functionality. The populated database required to accomplish this will consist of imagery, topographic, and planimetric feature data as described in statement of work (SOW) at Attachment 1. The SOW identifies the required tasks, associated standards, and the required deliverables. 2. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The proposed period of performance for this requirement is 28 September 2009 through 27 September 2010. 3. EVALUATION: Award will be made on the basis of the lowest priced proposal meeting or exceeding technical capability. Contractors shall submit their technical and management approach including applicable licenses. 4. WARRANTY: The contractor shall describe its standard warranty offered for this requirement. 5.
