- It is the intent of the The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) to enter into a sole source, firm fixed price contract with Federal Radio Service Corporation 1202 Technology Park, Suite C, Aberdeen MD,21001-1245 for Airtime and Maintenance for 322 FedSmr Radios for a period of October 1,2009 through September30,2010. The National Archives and Records Administration Office of NAFM is required to utilize the Department of Commerce, NTIA contract for Airtime and Maintenance of these FedSmr Radios. The proposed contract action will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The NAICs code is 811213 Communication Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The anticipated award date is 22 September 2009. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to close of business 09/16/2009. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Oral communications are not acceptable. However, all proposals received after date of publication of this synopsis and prior to 09/16/2009 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in responding to this notice. Refer to Note 22 in Fedbizzopps. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and are to remain in full force in any resultant firm-fixed price purchase order: ; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions—Commercial Terms (Mar 09); FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders—Commercial Items (Aug 09).
