- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect for Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36. This acquisition is unrestricted. //Schedule of items: This requirement is for Dormitory Furnitue //CLIN 0001: 90 x Woodbed Frames and wood slat platform attached to two singl ladder ends with EZ Lock hook ends, short track to ensure spreader at pillow level. Width and Length of the bed must accommodate for a European style mattress of 36"x75". Underbed height is Maximum of 17" and a Minimum of 14". //CLIN 0002: 90 x Wood Underbed Storage Units with Hidden rollers, non-locking Maximum Height - 17", Minimum Height - 14" Maximum Width - 75", Minimum Width - 72" Maximum Depth - 27", Minimum Depth - 24" //CLIN 0003: 90 x 6 Drawer Chest Modified to Add top drawer Entertainment Compartment and Pull out desk. (45 Desk Pullouts on the Right, and 45 Desk Pullouts on the Left). Maximum Height - 38", Minimum Height - 35" Maximum Width - 60", Minimum Width - 57" Maximum Depth - 24", Minimum Depth - 21" Pull Out Shelf should be 24" when fully extended. The shelf needs to support 15 Pounds of weight. //CLIN 0004: 90 x 3 Drawer Chest Modificed to Add two additional drawers Maximum Height - 51", Minimum Height - 48" Maximum Width - 36", Minimum Width - 33" Maximum Depth - 22", Minimum Depth - 19" //CLIN 0005: Shipping to 422 CES/FMO, Building 62, RAF Croughton, UK, NN13 5NQ //NOTE: Please ensure that your items are shipped fully assembled and ready to install. Furniture must be constructed of Hardwood or HP Laminates. Particle Board will not be accepted. All drawer pulls need to be recessed with no protruding knobs. The dressers have to be flush on the bottom with no legs raising them up.
