- Description
- The VA VISN Acquisition Center Mid-South Health Care System, 1639 Medical Center Parkway Suite 400, Murfreesboro, TN 37129 intends to make a sole source award to Windstream, INC., 11101 Anderson Drive, Little Rock, AR 72212-2475 These services are necessary for daily work activities. Windstream will provide dial tone as the Local Area Carrier (LEC) in the greater Lexington KY area to the VA Medical Center EAPBX for completion of incoming and outgoing calls. Without dial tone, the medical center and supported outpatient clinics can not maintain communications outside of the medical center or between divisions at the VA Medical Center Lexington, KY. The period of performance is October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010 with one option to renew for a period of one year each. The authority for this sole source procurement is FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2). The applicable NAICS code is 517110 with a size standard of 1500 personnel.
