- Sources sought for a commercial services acquisition, which may result in a solicitation being issued for a firm-fixed-price contract. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of contractors who can support this requirement as a prime contractor. Services would include, but are not limited to: providing all labor, material, parts, services, and some equipment to operate, maintain, repair, and construct real property facilities for the following functional areas: Dining Facility Appliances and Equipment; Electrical Systems; Heating Plants and Systems; Water System; Storm Drain System; Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Plants and System; Buildings and Structures; Grounds; Surfaced Areas; Unaccompanied Personnel Housing Operations and Maintenance; Refuse; Fire Detection and Suppression; Environmental Services; and Nolan Building Operations and Maintenance. The period of performance for this acquisition is expected to be 1 April 2010 through 30 September 2010, with four one-year option periods. Work shall be performed at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
