- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is soliciting sources for a Service Agreement for Life Safety Portable Fire Extinguishers for fiscal year 2010 (from 10/01/09 thru 09/30/10) with a base period of one (1) year plus four (4) additional one option year period. The contractor shall provide all labor, parts, materials and equipment for inspection, maintenance, repair, testing and replacement for all type and model of portable fire extinguishers at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing's Washington D C facilities. Work shall be performed in accordance with NFPA 10. Bureau of Engraving and Printing is requesting HOURLY CHARGE: The FAR procedures set forth in FAR 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The applicable North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code 333999, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The request for quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-10-0019. Delivery shall be made within 30 days after receipt of purchase order. Deliver terms are F.O.B. Destination to Bureau of Engraving & Printing, 14th and C Street S W, Washington D C 20228. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be price. All interested small business is requested to submit a written quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Quotation may be submitted on a SF1449, SF18 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number. DUNS numbers, size status (that is small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). If this item is available under GSA Schedule, please provide the schedule number. Quotations are due by 2:30 P.M. on September 24, 2009. Quotations may be mailed to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), Office of Acquisition, Attn: Rosa Lee, 14th and C Street, S.W., Washington, D.C. 20228-0001 or faxed to Rosa Lee at 202-874-2200.
