- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWC-AD), Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate and issue a Firm Fixed Price Type Contract for delivery of new Labview software licenses and the upgrading of current Labview software licenses in support of Labview Development Suite software used by the Propulsion Systems Evaluation Facility (PSEF) and the Power and Electrical Lab (B1461) as a development tool to acquire data from jet engines and engine parts. The applicable NAICS code is 334119. The size standard is 500 employees. Delivery will be FOB Destination, and the contractor shall deliver the software 3 months from the date of award. The period of performance for this effort will be 3 months. The Government intends to negotiate this contract on a sole source basis with National Instruments Corporation, 11500 N. Mopac Expy, Austin, TX 78759-3504. This contract is to be issued under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c), (1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit technical information and a technical capability statement in response to this notice. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Contracts, shall consider responses. Responses without a return address, and company telephone number will not be recognized. Proprietary data in the responses will be protected where so designated. NOTE: Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DOD Activity. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
