COPPER ALLOY MATERIAL, 1/2 INCH O.D., 0.032 INCH WALL THICKNESS, ANNEALED, 50 FEET COILS, ENDS SEALED FOR REFRIGERATION SERVICE PER ASTM B280 STANDARD TITLED: "SEAMLESS COPPER TUBE FOR AIR CONDITIONING AND REFRIGERATION FIELD SERVICE." COPIES OF REFERENCED ASTM STANDARDS MAY BE OBTAINED FROM: "SALES SERVICES DEPT", 1916 RACE STREET. PHILADELPHIA, PA, 19103. UNIT OF ISSUE CL (COIL), CONTAINS 50 FEET. IF AQLS ARE LISTED IN THE SPECIFICATION(S)OR DRAWING(S) THEY MAY BE USED TO ESTABLISH THE AUTHORIZED SAMPLE SIZE, HOWEVER, THE ACCEPTANCE NUMBER FOR THIS CONTRACT IS ZERO; I.E., THIS CONTRACT REQUIRES A SAMPLING PLAN THAT ACCEPTS ON ZERO DEFECTS AND REJECTS ON ONE OR MORE DEFECT(S). "CLASS I OZONE DEPLETING CHEMICALS ARE NOT TO BE USED NOR INCORPORATED IN ANY ITEMS TO BE DELIVERED UNDER THIS CONTRACT. THIS PROHIBITION SUPERSEDES ALL SPECIFICATION REQUIREMENTS BUT DOES NOT ALLEVIATE ANY PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS. SUBSTITUTE CHEMICALS MUST BE SUBMITTED FOR APPROVAL UNLESS THEY ARE AUTHORIZED BY THE SPECIFICATION REQUIREMENTS." FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION APPLY MERCURY OR MERCURY CONTAINING COMPOUNDS SHALL NOT BE INTENTIONALLY ADDED TO,OR COME IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH, ANY HARDWARE OR SUPPLIES FURNISHED UNDER THIS CONTRACT. CRITICAL APPLICATION ITEM I/A/W ASTM B280-08 BASIC AMEND NR TYPE NUMBER: All responsible SMALL BUSINESS sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The subject requirement is for acquisition of 4710-00-424-2694 for the various end items. This proposed procurement includes an item within the Federal Supply Class 4710. The requirement will result in an award of an Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order Contract for which delivery orders may be placed for three (3) years. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on 14 SEPTEMBER 2009 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/. The scope of this contract includes the acquisition of a 1G drawing item. The delivery for this acquisition will be on an FOB Destination basis. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period two times at the discretion of the Government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 3 years. The final award decision will be based upon a evaluation of price, delivery, and past performance.
