- Correction of the project title and location provided in the synopsis of the original combined synopsis/solicitation issued for the Bob Walters Landslide emergency project. The solicitation is not being amended. This contract is for the reclamation of the Bob Walters Landslide emergency project located in Bulan, Perry County, KY. The work under this contract will consist of: 1) mobilization and demobilization of the contractor's labor, equipment and materials; 2) site preparation; 3) excavation and removal of landslide material; 4) installation of surface and subsurface drainage control structures; 5) site regrading; and 6) revegetation of all disturbed areas. The estimated cost range is under $100,000. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition in 237990. The small business size standard is $31.0M. A PREBID CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD ON 09/22/09 @ 10:00 AM. PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS ARE TO MEET AT THE ROUTE 80 AND ROUTE 1146 INTERSECTION NEAR HAZARD, PERRY COUNTY, KY. (SEE ATTACHMENT 3 FOR DIRECTIONS TO THE SITE). Bids will be opened on September 29, 2009. An original hard copy of the completed and signed IFB along with completed Section K Reps and Certs and AML Contractor Information Form are due at the depository in 3 Parkway Center, Pittsburgh, PA 15220 on September 29, 2009 @ 10:00 am. Electronic and/or faxed bids will not be accepted. Contractors doing business with the Government are required to have a DUNs number, register in the Central Contractor Registration at ccr.gov data base and complete on line representations and certifications at orca.bpn.gov.
