- Atachment 2 PBGC Electronic Invoicing RFI - FINAL Attachment 1_PBGC Electronic Invoicing RFI - FINAL To Commercial Off the Shelf Vendors, System Integrators and IT Service Providers: Background: The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation's (PBGC) is conducting market research to determine how PBGC can most efficiently support an accounts payable electronic invoice presentment and payment (AP-EIPP) solution. Integral to PBGC's IT portfolio management practices, PBGC conducts Architecture and Investment Planning activities prior to implementing IT solutions. This investment planning analysis supports the replacement of the current invoice processing system. Data from this Request for Information (RFI) and PBGC's enterprise architecture analysis will be used for investment planning purposes. Increasingly, the PBGC is becoming more reliant on technology as the enabling agent for meeting management's need to streamline underlying financial and administrative processes. The PBGC places a high degree of importance on information technology as a financial investment, and understands the necessity to manage this investment wisely. Scope of Information Request: We are researching an AP-EIPP solution to propose the optimal electronic invoicing solution and services for PBGC. We are requesting COTS Vendors, System Integrators and IT Service Providers to indicate the optimal AP-EIPP solution and services for PBGC based on the information provided in attached market research request document. KPMG, LLP has been engaged to help PBGC with the analysis and should be included on responses to this request. In response to this market research and information request, please provide the following: • An updated version of Attachment A to this document. We request that your organization complete this spreadsheet indicating how you plan to satisfy PBGC key requirements. • An updated version of Attachment B to this document outlining a 5-year cost estimate starting October 2010 to include planning, implementation, and post-go-live support. • Identify current clients that utilize AP-EIPP your firm's solutions and services, please highlight any clients that may have a similar transaction volume as the PBGC. • Any additional information that you feel will assist PBGC in assessing alternatives for an AP-EIPP solution.
