- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. W81NTE9204N388 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. This acquisition is unrestricted under NAICS code 811219, Size Standard $700,000.00. FAR provisions and clauses in this solicitation may be viewed at http://www.arnet.gov/far/. DFARS clauses may be viewed at http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dars/dfarspgi/current/index.html. The requirements in this solicitation: 1. Service Maintenance on the Laminar Flow Hoods/Safety Biological Hoods - QTY 1. Testing & Certification of Chemical Fume Hoods (CFH), Testing & Certification of Laminar Flow Units (LFU) and Testing & Certification of Safety Cabinets (BSC) Annual Contract Services on the Laminar Flow Hoods and Biological Saftey Hoods, located at Brooke Army Medical Center and Surrounding Clinics. Period of Performance: 01 Oct 2009 to 30 Sept 2010. FOB destination is preferred. FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition to include the following addenda: All offerors are cautioned that if selected for award, they must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) program. The CCR can be accessed via the internet at www.ccr.gov/. Confirmation of CCR registration will be validated prior to award. Vendors shall comply with FAR 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal, if submitting other than the Brand Name product. Offers will be evaluated according to 52.212-2. Evaluation factors at 52.212-2 (a) are price and conformance to salient characteristics outlined in this solicitation. Vendors shall include a completed copy of FAR provision 52.212-3 ALT I as outlined therein.
