THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W911RZ-09-T-0410. This is Amendment #1 of Solicitation # W911RZ-09-T-0410. The purpose of Amendment #1 is to: 1. Add clause FAR 52.232-18, Availability of Funds to this solicitation. 2. Provide answers to the questions asked by vendors. 1. FAR 52.232-18, Availability of Funds applies to this solicitation. Availability of Funds (Apr 1984) Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Governments obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. 2. Questions and Answers Question: Who is the current vendor? Answer: The current contract was awarded to Professional Compliance and Test. Question: Which laboratory is currently performing the drug screens and confirmations? Answer: A Government Laboratory currently performs the drug screens and confirmations. Question: What is the current pricing? Answer: The current contract was awarded for $6,000. However, the previous contract was for a 12 month period. Question: How can we get a copy of the current contract? Answer: A copy of the contract can be obtained through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. A FOIA request can be made by contacting Robin Moses at (719)526-2114. Question: How many collections were performed in 2008? Answer: Approximately 250 collections were made during the last year. Question: How many Breath Alcohol tests were performed in 2008? Answer: Approximately 5 breath alcohol tests were performed last year. Question: Is the vendor responsible for MRO services? Answer: No, the vendor is not responsible for MRO services. Question: Who is being tested? Answer: Those being tested are employees, which may include applicants for employment.
