- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36. The solicitation number is Q9512090041, and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation is a small business set-aside. All responsible small businesses concerns may submit a quotation that shall be considered by the agency. The NAICS code is 332322 with an associated small business size standard of 500 employees. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. Clauses and provisions can be found at http://www.arnet.gov/far. This solicitation will result in an award of a firm, fixed-price contract. The National Park Service, Olympic National Park, has a requirement for a single contractor to supply and deliver the following Guardrails and Terminal Flare: CLIN0001, 36 each: Terminal Flare / Cor-Ten (weathering steel), W-Beam, 20 gauge, Terminal Flare Guardrail. CLIN0002, 2 each: Guardrail / Cor-Ten (weathering steel), W-Beam, 20 guage, 20 foot concave radius, and total length 13 feet, 6 inches. CLIN0003, 3 each: Guardrail / Cor-Ten (weathering steel), W-Beam, 20 guage,15 foot convex radius, and total length 13 feet, 6 inches. CLIN0004, 330 each: Guardrail / Cor-Ten (weathering steel), W-Beam, 20 guage, and total length 12 feet, 6 inches. CLIN0005: Delivery / F.O.B. Destination to Olympic National Park, 600 East Park Avenue, Port Angeles, Washington 98362. Award will be made on the basis of "best value" to the contractor that the Government determines can best satisfy the objectives and requirements of this Request for Quotations, in a manner most advantageous to the Government.
