- The Fort Drum Directorate of Contracting intends to solicit and award a firm fixed price contract, for the Repair and Return of 3 main rotor hubs of AH-1 Cobra Helicopters. The required services associated with this action are to provide all supervision, plant, labor and equipment necessary to perform all work to overhaul the main rotor hubs to Zero Time Since Overhaul. This action will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and awarded under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Solicitation W911S2-09-T-3040 will be issued on or about September 14, 2009 on the Army Single Face to Industrys (ASFI) web page at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. The size standard for the NAICS Code is $7 million. Interested parties may identify their interest in and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting a quote in response to the solicitation, no later than 17 July 2009. Any information received will be considered solely for informational purposes and the Government will not pay for such information received.
