- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) contemplates issuing one award for the storage of flu vaccine, manufactured by Sanofi Pasteur, Novartis and MedImmune to be used as a CDC Strategic Reserve. The storage sites may be located at one or more domestic facilities that are controlled by the vaccine manufacturers or third party distributors. Quantities may vary between a much as 50,000 doses to 200,000 doses. The estimated period of performance is 8 months. CDC will consider all responsible sources that are Small Businesses, responding to the solicitation. The anticipated issue date is October 14, 2009 and the anticipated due date for receipt of proposals is November 12, 2009.
