- Question: The S8710 server is old. The rel 4 software on AES is old. The G700 are not sold new anymore. The TN793CP are now DP. Answer: According to Avaya, the parts in question are still active and available. Question: Out of the fifty-six (56) line items in equipment listed in the J&A, four (4) come back as discontinued or modified Avaya part numbers, with recommendations for more current part number/description. The parts in question are: 183545 S8710 SERVER 700394984 G700 MEDIA GATEWAY 700426729 9630 IP PHONE 194384 1500VA UPS Answer: The Test system needs to be at the same software (versions/releases) and hardware type as our operational system. According to Avaya, part number 183545, 700394984 and 700426729 are still available. Substitutions may not be made for any of the part numbers listed. At this time, only new and unrefurbished items will be deemed acceptable. Question: Are the S8300 and S8710 stand alone systems? If not the G350 is not JITC certified on the S8300 LSP. Answer: Needs to be S8300 with G700's and S8710. Question: The G700 is no longer available. Do you want to substitute a G650? Answer: No, it must be G700. Question: The AE Server is not JITC certified. Do you still want to include it? Answer: The AES Server is not JITC, but it will have to Security Harden to meet DLIS Security Requirements.
