- Description
- The Architect of the Capitol has a procurement of regular grade, unleaded automotive gasoline, 87 Octane with additives and 10% ethanol conforming to the applicable requirements of ASTM D 4814-12 for an estimated yearly total of 61,000 gallons. The automotive gasoline requires a winter/summer mix based on current EPA regulations. This requirement includes low sulfur diesel fuel based on ASTM D 975-92 requirements with an estimated yearly total of 14,000 gallons. This requirement also includes E85 fuel with an estimated yearly total of 10,000 gallons. The E85 fuel will be delivered to the fueling station at 14 E Street, SE, Washington D.C. Fuels will be delivered to the U. S. Capitol Complex and D.C. Village Production facility. Deliveries will also include gasoline to the Rayburn House Office Building at 1st Street between Independence Ave. and C Street, SW, Washington DC and the U. S. Capitol Grounds Automotive Garage at 14th Street SE Washington DC. The contract coverage will start on or about January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2011 with one year option available for January 1, 2012 through December 31, 2012. The solicitation will be issued on or about October 1, 2009. Copies of the solicitation document when issued will be made available electronically by downloading from the AOC Procurement Opportunities website located at http://www.aoc.gov/business/procure-opps.cfm No telephone requests will be accepted for copies of the solicitation documents.
