- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined Synopsis/Solicitation Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is 21-09-399QFS168 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13. Quotes given shall include all related shipping and handling charges conducive in shipping to U.S. Coast Guard Academy, 15 Mohegan Avenue, New London, CT 06320. EQUIVALENT ITEMS WILL BE ACCEPTED, PLEASE PROVIDE COMPLETE SPECIFICATIONS ON ALL ITEMS BEING SUBMITTED FOR CONSIDERATION. ITEM 001: FLUOROMAX 4 RESEARCH SPECTROFLUOROMETER WITH 150W OZONE FREE XENON SOURCE FOR EXCITATION, 1200 G/MM GRATING BLAZED AT 330 NM, SINGLE CZERNY TURNER EMISSION WITH 1200 G/MM GRATING BLAZED AT 500NM, CONTINUOUSLY ADJUSTABLE ENTRANCE AND EXIT SLITS OPERATED UNDER COMPUTER CONTROL, ALL REFLECTING OPTICS, PHOTODIODE REFERENCE DETECTOR, MULTIALKALI PMT EMISSION DETECTOR, PHOTON COUNTING ELECTRONICS AND CONTROLLING SOFTWARE. MUST BE UPGRADABLE TO HAVE TIME CORRELATED SINGLE PHOTON COUNTING CAPABILITY. – 1 EACH ITEM 002: DELL PENTIUM CLASS COMPUTER CONFIGURED WITH WINDOWS – 1 EACH ITEM 003: HPLC FLOWCELL 20UL, FITS STANDARD CUVETTE HOLDER– 1 EACH ITEM 004: THERMOSTATTED SINGLE CUVETTE HOLDER (1CM PATHLENGTH) DESIGNED FOR MODEL 1920 (MAINTAINS -20 TO 80 C) INCLUDES MAGNETIC STIRRING AND STIRRING BAR– 1 EACH. ITEM 004: FREIGHT CHARGES (IF APPLICABLE) The following clauses and provisions are incorporated by reference and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial item (Jan 2005). Only one (1) award will be made as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated by reference IAW FAR 52.252-2 Clauses Incorporated by Reference (Feb 1998) and remain in full force in any resultant purchase order. FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial Items (Jan 2005), applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items (Oct 2003), is incorporated into this RFQ and is an addendum to add the following clause: FAR 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration (Oct 2003).
