- RECOVERY--PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR UNDER THE CONTRACT NUMBER: A.B CONSULTANTS, INC., W912DR-07-D-0008 Initiated as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, (Pub L. 111-5) dated 17 February 2009, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Civil Division, received authorization for this project. The repairs included in this scope of work are for the maintenance and operations of Cowanesque Lake, which includes 1,085 surface acres of water. The spillway crest at 1117.0 is meant to prevent possible overtopping of the dam at elevation 1151.0 during periods of high water. In general terms, this Task Orders design effort consists of design of concrete repair and joint repair work to the right bank wall lining. Other significant tasks include the preparation of an accident prevention plan, preliminary design, final design, backcheck and originals.
