- PWS THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. Any formal solicitations will be announced separately. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information provided in response to this RFI The Department of the Air Force 482nd LGC at Homestead ARB, FL intends to contract for Base Wide Grounds Maintenance services at Homestead ARB, FL. All business sizes, to include small business and the sub-categories of small businesses, are being looked at during our market research phase. We anticipate a single award contract using North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code of 561730 with a small business standard of $7,000,000. A fixed price contract will be awarded for a base period of one year with four one year option periods. The proposed base performance period is 1 February 2010 through 31 January 2011. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) at https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/default.aspx. Offerors must also register on the ORCA website at https://orca.bpn.gov/ for online representations and certifications. The offer due date will be stated in the solicitation. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the FedBizOps website. Paper copies will not be available. No telephone calls or written requests for this solicitation package will be accepted. Once the solicitation is posted, it is the interested parties' responsibility to review the site frequently for any updates/amendments to the solicitation. We respectfully request industry response to the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) dated 14 September 2009 for Grounds Maintenance Services at Homestead ARB, FL. Responses from interested offerors should include experience performing these services, current capabilities to perform these services and past or present teaming arrangements in performing similar services. Responses will not be considered proposals, nor will any award be made as a result of this request. Questions on the PWS beyond the response date will not be addressed. Questions regarding this acquisition should be addressed to truman.arnett@homestead.af.mil. Please include the following with your response: name and address of firm; Point of Contact with telephone number and e-mail address; size of business; average annual revenue for the past 3 years and number of employees; classification standard i.e. large, small, small disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone, etc, affiliate information: parent company, joint venture partners, and potential teaming partners; Contract and Government Entity (CAGE) code; Dun and Bradstreet Number and capability statement consisting of appropriate documentation, literature and brochures. Responses must be limited to no more than 5 pages. Submission of Capabilities Statement is not a prerequisite to any potential future offerings. Responses are required to be received in the contracting office no later than 04:00 P.M. local time on 13 October 2009. All responses must be emailed to the attention of Truman Arnett at truman.arnett@homestead.af.mil. Please note that official information concerning this acquisition will be provided only by the Contracting Officer or the Buyer.
