- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN16 Contracting Office intends to purchase an automated linen distribution system for the VA Medical Center, Biloxi, Mississippi. This is a Brand Name or Equal procurement, using simplified acquisition procedures under FAR Part 13. Requirements for three (3) each Innovative Product Achievements LLC, alEx LC dispenser (SE-7003) with installation. The salient characteristics for the items are: System which distributes clean scrubs in less than 6 seconds/clean bulky linen in less than 3 seconds - Should have the ability to dispense/receive both clean and soiled linen. System should keep out unauthorized users. System should distribute specific quantities of linen and weigh the amount of linen taken per user. System should be able to be monitored remotely using existing software. Any company that has equipment with the same features, capabilities and compatibility without modifications to all proprietary existing software, (must have plug and play functionality), will be considered. Solicitation will be issued on or about 15 Sept. 09
