- RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. The Federal Highway Administration issued Task Order Number DTFH61-09-F-00061 and Modification Numbers 1 and 2 to Task Order Number DTFH61-09-F-00061 to provide for cellular telephones and corresponding cellular telephone service. The Federal Highway Administration awarded this task order to Verizon Wireless as a fixed price task order under a sole source, non-competitive process. The cellular telephone service’s part of the purchase was awarded under the General Services Administration’s (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule Contract Number GS-35F-0119P. This is a sole source action because Verizon Wireless is Federal Highway Administration Headquarters’ current cellular phone service provider. The fixed price is consistent with the pricing and terms and conditions under GSA’s Federal Supply Schedule. Modification Number 1 only serves to clarify the pricing of the telephones is in the open market, not under the Federal Supply Schedule, and were provided to the Federal Highway Administration at no additional cost. Modification Number 2 was issued to: (1) obligate funds in the amount of $7,476.48 for an additional six (6) Motorola vu204 cellular phones and services; (2) include additional Recovery Act clauses since funding is provided by the Recovery Act; and (3) extend the period of performance from 07/01/2010 to 09/16/2010. This notice is a repost of prior notices to correct the title of the award to include the word “RECOVERY.”
