- The Contracting Center of Excellence intends to award contract to Smart City Networks, Incorporated on a sole source basis for information technology support services for the Army Senior Leaders Executive suites at the Association of the United States (AUSA) Annual Meeting and Exposition held at the Walter E. Washington on 3 thru 7 October 2009. Smart City Networks is the exclusive telecommunications and electronic communications provider at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.CCE intends to award a contract on or about 24 September 2009. This notice is not a competitive request for proposal. A competitive solicitation will not be issued.
