- Performance of any resulting contract shall be in accordance with the Statement of Work. Submittal requirements shall be in accordance with this document. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This Request for Quotation constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is reserved for small businesses; however, the Government will accept proposals from all businesses. In the event of insufficient small business participation, award will be made on an unrestricted basis. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-36. The NAICS Code is 561410 and the SIC is 7338. The U.S. Naval Hospital, Okinawa, Japan has a requirement for remote medical transcription services and shall be in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). CLIN 0001 - Transcription Services with a Period of performance from 1 October 2009 through 31 March 2010 with options as follows: CLIN 1001 Option I: 1 April 2010 through 30 April 2010; CLIN 2001 Option II: 1 May 2010 through 31 May 2010; CLIN 3001 Option III: 1 June 2010 through 30 June 2010. The contract period may be extended in accordance with FAR 52.217-9, Option to Extend the Term of the Contract (March 2000). The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible contractor whose quotation conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. See the attached document titled RFQRequirements for quotation requirements, evaluation information, and general information. Solicitation documents have been uploaded with quotations due no later than 21 Sep 2009. Contract effective date estimated to be October 1, 2009 or the award date, whichever is later. This solicitation and any resulting contract will be subject to availability of funds (FAR 52.232-18).
