- Altus Air Force Base has a requirement for the following commercial item: AUDITORIUM SEATING (BASE THEATER). See the solicitation for the specifications required. All offerors doing business with the government MUST register in the DOD Central Contractor Registry (CCR) database prior to receipt of submittals. Failure to register in the CCR database will render your firm ineligible for review and possible award. CCR registration may be accomplished online at http://www.ccr.gov. Additional information concerning CCR registration may be obtained by calling 1-888-227-2423. All firms must also be registered with the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) website prior to receipt of submittals in order to be considered for award. This may be accomplished at http://orca.bpn.gov/. The single source of entry for all documentation pertaining to this acquisition will be on the government procurement website at the following address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. All interested parties are responsible for checking this website to ensure they have the most current information (i.e. amendments issued, changes to Statement of Work, Etc). The NAICS code for this acquisition is 337127 and the size standard is 500 employees. SITE VISIT NOTIFICATION Altus Air Force Base has scheduled a site visit in conjunction with solicitation FA4419-09-T-0153, Auditorium Seating Bldg 114. The site visit is scheduled for Thursday, 17 Sept 09 at 9:30 AM. The government encourages attendance in order for the offeror to fully realize the scope and performance required to fulfill this requirement. The offeror should review the Statement of Work, and submit questions in writing if applicable. Understand the government will not reimburse or be liable for any expenses incurred by the attendee to include but not limited to travel expense, lodging, and per diem. Attendees will meet at the following date, time and location and be escorted onto Altus AFB, OK. SITE VISIT DETAILS Date: 17 Sept 09 Time: 9:30 AM, Central Time Location: Altus AFB, OK 73523 (South Gate Entrance) Participants will meet at the Altus Air Force Base South Gate no later than 9:15 AM on day of the site visit and be escorted. Visitors must have a valid Identification Card. The South Gate is located off Hwy 62 on N2070 Rd (approx 1 mile East of Altus). Late arrival to the south gate area may result in denial of access to the installation. Again, the government will not reimburse or be liable for any expenses incurred by the attendee to include but not limited to travel expense, lodging, and per diem. NEED TO KNOW 1) In order to gain access to the government installation; advance notice must be received by attendee on or before September 16th at 1:00 pm. The following information must be provided: - Name (As indicated on driver’s license.) - Company Represented (name and address.) 2) Failure to submit required information may also result in denial of access to the installation. Please email your information to TSgt Wayne Watson at Wayne.Watson@Altus.AF.MIL or call (580) 481-5840. 3) Questions will not be answered during the site visit due to the limited availability of technical personnel at this time. The government request that all questions from or during the site visit be provided in written format to Wayne.Watson@Altus.AF.MIL. The site visit is merely for the offeror to be provided access to the facility to obtain an understanding of the scope of work, take measurements if desired, or formulate questions for submission.
