- The US Army Medical Command, Pacific Regional Contracting Office (PRCO), Tripler AMC, Hawaii, intends to issue a sole source award to Wahl Instruments, Inc. dba Instrumentation Group, 234 Old Weaverville Road, Asheville, NC 28804-1260 to provide the following supply(s): (1) Qty Seven (7) Heat Spy, digital, pocket, fever alert, Mfr: Palmer-Wahl Instrumentation Group, item # DHS110S, 9V battery, carrying case & wrist strap, 2 operating manuals and 2 service manuals; (2) Qty Three (3) Imager, thermal, fever alert, portable, Mfr: Palmer-Wahl Instrumentation Group, item # HSI1500S, includes carrying case, detachable handle, wrist strap, battery, AC adapter, analysis/report software CD, USA cable & mini-SD card, 2 operating manuals and 2 service manuals; (3) Qty Two (2) ACC, Calibration, black body, portable, item # HSICBB-P, NIST traceable report of calibration, 2 operating manuals and 2 service manuals; (4) FEDEX Priority Shipping Charge Large Overpak Box to ship directly to: USA MEDDAC-JAPAN, ATTN: MCJA-LD BLDG #721, ZAMA-SHI, KANAGAWA-KEN, JAPAN 228-0027; MARK FOR: WT5JZK-9229-4215, CEEP # 09-036 ON ALL SHIPPING LABELS ON EACH PACKAGE. This brand name item is required for standardization and portability. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated items above is invited to submit a written notification to PRCO within three (3) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Supporting information must be furnished to demonstrate the firms ability to provide the stated brand name software. Information can be sent to the Contract Specialist. Ms. Annette Pickering at annette.pickering@us.army.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, PRCO will proceed with the sole source purchase order.
