- This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable. The Naval Surface Warfare Center has a requirement to modify an existing five year indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract, N00164-07-D-8912, awarded on 29 Jun 2007 to Communications Power Industries, Inc, Palo Alto, CA on a sole source basis. The modification will add two contract line items (CLINs) as follows: CLIN 0004: NULKA Reliability Report-update of CPI's reliability report on the VTR-5117E5 dated Feb 2004, Quantity 1. CLIN 0005: No fault evidence (NFE) Evaluation and Test for items returned under warranty which the manufacturer is unable to confirm the stated failure. Minimum quantity 3, Maximum quantity 5. Delivery will be FOB Destination, NSWC Crane Division, Crane, Indiana 47522, as specified in the existing contract. Inspection and acceptance will be as specified in the existing contract. This solicitation will be issued utilizing other than full and open competition procedures under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), only one responsible source. An offer will be solicited from Communications and Power Industries, Inc, Palo Alto, CA. Distribution of Source Control Documents is restricted by the Arms Export Control Act, Title 22 USC; access to the specifications is strictly limited. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.
