- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed priced contract to the lowest offer technically acceptable. The solicitation is for consulting services to Provide 200 hours of onsite information technology consulting service (development and network support) to the Information Management Division (IMD) staff of Winn Army Community Hospital (Winn ACH); Perform database (MS SQL Server and/or MS Access) development, maintenance, and programming tasks alongside Winn ACH IMD staff, enabling the IMD staff to learn many of these tasks while working on projects; Work with IMD staff to create database views/queries and make them available to other applications, such as (but not limited to) dynamic websites, Business Objects Crystal Reports, and MS Excel workbooks. Work with IMD staff in developing interactive Intranet websites, custom SharePoint portals, and integration applications (between database and spreadsheet, for example), all using development tools such as (but not limited to) MS Visual Studio.NET and Adobe Dreamweaver; These development tools may employ programming languages/technologies such as (but not limited to) ASP, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, SQL, HTML, and ColdFusion. Work with IMD staff in developing MS SharePoint websites to maintain document control and website versioning, along with built-in content approval functions; And Work with IMD staff to install and configure needed network servers and help implement efforts towards virtualization. Have certifications for, and experience with, MS SharePoint, SQL Server (2000, 2005, & 2008), VB.NET and ASP.NET, MCSE, MCSA, A+, Network+, Security+, and Microsoft Exchange.
