- Vendor Questions and Answers as of 09/10/09. Q: What is the part number for the batteries? A: SYBTU1-PLP. We want 62 quantity of part number SYBTU1-PLP. Q: HOW MAY UPS SYSTEMS ARE THERE TO REPLACE BATTERY TRAYS? A: One 80KV UPS Q: ARE THESE SYSTEMS ALL LOCATED IN ONE FACILITY? A: Yes Q: WHAT SECURITY PROCEDURES WILL BE NECESSARY FOR THE TECHS TO COME ON BASE TO REPLACE THE BATTERIES? A: Will need valid ID, drivers license and insurance to get base pass. Techs must be escorted in facility while performing work. Q: ARE THE WHOLE BATTERY TRAY UNITS (CANISTERS) BEING REPLACED OR JUST THE BATTERIES WITHIN THE TRAYS? A: Whole canisters are being replaced Q: HOW QUICKLY AFTER THE BIDDING PROCESS DO YOU WANT THIS REPLACEMENT TO HAPPEN? A: We would like work to occur within 30 days of contract award, however timeframe is not an evaluation factor for award. Q: IS 62 BATTERY CARTRIDGES THE CORRECT QUANITY? IF THESE ARE GOING IN AN APC PX BATTERY CABINET THERE ARE 32 CARTRIDGES PER CABINET. IF THERE ARE TWO CABINETS THERE SHOULD BE 64 CARTRIDGES REQUIRED. IT SEEMS AS IF THE QUANITY IS TOO FEW OR A LOT EXTRA. A: Yes 62 canisters is the correct quantity.
