Salient Characteristics: The AN/AVS-9 GEN III with Helmet Mount for the HGU-56/P Helmet, includes the following: Helmet Mount for the HGU-56/P Helmet, Low Profile Battery Pack, Carrying Case, Neck Cord, Lens Tissue, Operator's Manual, and Lens Cap. Spectral Response visible to 0.90 um (IR) Magnification: unity Field of View: 40 degrees nominal Resolution: 1.3cy/mr, minimum Brightness Gain: 5500 fl/fl minimum Collimation: greater than 1 degree convergence, greater than 0.3 degrees dipvergence/divergence Interpupillary Adjustment: Independent, 51 to 72 mm total Vertical Adjustment: 25mm to infinity Fore and Aft Adjustment: 27 mm, range Tilt Adjustment: 10 degree range Objective lens EFL: EFL 25mm, F/1.23, T/1.35 Objective lens focus Range: 41cm to infinity Eyepiece lens: EFL 27mm Eye piece adjustment: +2 to -6 Battery type fixed wing: 2 ea AA lithium Rotary wing: 4 ea AA size Alkaline Weight: 530 grams Weight of Mount Fixed wing: 250 grams Rotary wing: 220 grams Operating Temp -32 degrees C to 52 degrees C Figure of Merit must not exceed 1250 You must disclose tube sources for AN/AVS-9s to be provided.
