- Description
- The Dept of Veterans Affairs, VISN 17, intends to award an anticipated sole source procurement to LSM Technologies Inc, 24 Northbrook Lane, Ste A, Shrewsbury, PA 17361, for the upgrade to the existing Zeiss LSM 410 Confocal Microscope system at the DVA Medical Center. The upgrade will consist of the following items: repair, replace, test and align PMT Detecter 3; 40X 1.3 Oil Plan Neofluar objective; 63x 1.3 Oil DIC Apochromat Objective; laser safety shield; sideport for existing non-descanned detector; 405mm solid state diode laser; Zeiss 410 control board; Marzhauser XY stage system; spectrometer (integration/installation); acquisition control computer; 3D software for 100 LSM 410; 543 mm HeNe Internal laser; Hamamatsu photo-multiplier upgrade for PMT 1,2, and 3; Dichronoic and emission optics upgrade, alignment and replacement. This procurement will be processed under the SAP and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The NAICS code is 333314 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The solicitation issue date will be on or about September 11, 2009 with the bid opening date on or about September 17, 2009, and will be issued in commercial item format. No telephone requests or written documents will be accepted.
