- Mobile Communications Vehicles The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District has a requirement for two (2) Mobile Communications Vehicles for use by the Deployable Tactical Operations System (DTOS), Irvington, AL. The vehicle will be similar or equal to the Dodge Freightliner Sprinter 3500 11030 GVRW Cargo Van, and will be outfitted with an extensive listing of equipment and accessories. This is a commercial items procurement issued under FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. The NAICS code is 336111 and the size standard is 1000 employees. The solicitation will be available for download at https://www.fbo.gov on or about 16 Sep 2009. All prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers must be registered in Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) before they will be allowed to download solicitation information. The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format, however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Governments best interest.
