- RECOVERY--W912DQ-09-T-0191 Fair Field Boat Parking Lot RECOVERY-- Under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), the US Army Corp of Engineers, Kansas City District, will issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a firm-fixed price contract to, refurbish the current parking lot and entrance road, located at the Fairfield Boat Ramp and Parking Area of the Harry S. Truman Lake and Reservoir. The general scope of work consists of the following: "The existing parking lot, the parking lot entrance road, and that portion of the access road to be identified in the solicitation will have the existing surface ripped and excavated to a depth necessary to achieve the required grade after the application of rock. "Material excavated shall be used as fill to help achieve the required grade for the parking lot. Additional fill required to achieve grade shall be taken from an area adjacent to parking lot, to be identified in the solicitation. The area east of the parking lot shall have trees removed. "A control point for finish grade for the parking lot and parking lot entrance road will be indentified in the solicitation. The finish grade of the parking lot shall be sloped from the west border to the east with no more than a 2% slope with the exception of the northeast corner of the lot which shall match the control point elevation. "Rip Rap: Additional rip rap matching the existing rip rap shall be installed along the reworked bank adjacent to the east border of the lot. The contractor will furnish all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation, security and supervision necessary to satisfactorily accomplish the work in accordance with the Scope of Work (SOW) provided in the solicitation. The Contractor shall monitor performance and ensure compliance in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. The performance period will be from date of award through 1 March 2010. The solicitation will be available on or about September 21, 2009. The solicitation will be post to FedBizOps located at https://www.fbo.gov. Proposals will be due no later than 4:00 p.m. CDT October 13, 2009. IAW FAR 36.204 the magnitude of this requirement is between $25,000.00 & $100,000.00 The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 237310. SBA size standard is $33.5 million. THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. Please note that vendors must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database and Online Registration and Certification Application (ORCA). One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements.
