- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) webpage located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division is acquiring on a sole source basis the following option items for the Hitachi SU8000 Cold Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope: one (1) PN HAS-RO33-HR Haskris Air-Cooled Water Recirculator; one (1) PN 539-9774 YAG Backscattered Electron Detector for SU8000 II; one (1) PN 539-9800 Video Amplifier Unit (2-Channel) - required for YAG or SS BSE, TE, or EBIC Imaging; one (1) PN 539-9801 Photomultiplier Power Supply Unit (2-Channel) - requi! red for YAGBSE and TE Detectors; one (1) PN IRCS-HTC Infrared Chamber Scope. Compact design, high quality 7 inch LCD and IR illumination permits continuous monitoring of specimen chamber; one (1) PN SCS-2 Ultra Cool stage plus 50 degrees Celsius to minus 45 degrees Celsius (installation and one year warranty included); one (1) PN 52E-3986 Connector Kit for Deben Cool Stage; and one (1) PN NA1-3 GIS (gas injection system). The requirement is being sole sourced to Hitachi High Technologies America, Inc., 5100 Franklin Drive, Pleasanton, CA 94588-3355. The Request For Quote (RFQ) Number is N00178-08-Q-3082. Award is to be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR 13 as a Firm Fixed Price purchase order. The NAICS Code is 334516 and the FSC Code is 6650. Pricing will be FOB Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Attn: Receiving Officer, 6220 Tisdale Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Therefore, the quote must include all applicable shipping charges. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY REQUEST FOR QUOTATION, AS ALL ITEMS ARE SPECIFIED UNDER THIS NOTICE AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The closing date is 17 September 2009, 12:00 PM local time. Anticipated award date is 21 September 2009.
