- RECOVERY – THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. THIS CONTRACTING OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION (GSA) FEDERAL SUPPLY SCHEDULE (FSS), No. 736, TEMPORARY AND PROFESSIONAL STAFFING (TAPS) The acquisition is being conducted on an unrestricted basis. The North American Industry Classification System code applicable to this requirement is 561320, and the associated small business size standard is 13.5 M. THE NATIONAL INSTITUTES OF HEALTH (NIH), National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), Office of Acquisitions (OA) intends to award a task order to provide Web Development support working on a collaborative project with the Center for Biomedical Informatics (CBI) and the Office of Communications and Legislative Activities (OCLA) on the NHLBI-ARRA pages. The NHLBI requires a contractor who will independently provide Web Development support working on a collaborative project with the Center for Biomedical Informatics (CBI) and the Office of Communications and Legislative Activities (OCLA) on the NHLBI-ARRA web pages. This project involves the collection of Recovery Act stories directly from the labs to communicate the impact of ARRA dollars. Through OCLA’s direct coordination with grantee institutions, we plan to call for “video blogs” from the labs that show us the people behind the scenes. To accomplish this, a Web Developer is needed to assist with the design and to build a web interface for display on the NHLBI ARRA pages, including tools for users to upload their photos and videos and the mechanism to play quality videos from NHLBI. Therefore, in order for this project to be a success, we require the services of a Web Developer. NOTE: The Offeror must be registered in the Government’s Central Contractor Registry (CCR) System, which is available at www.ccr.gov, in order to receive an award from the NIH, NHLBI.
