- Sources Sought Information Sources Sought Notice Test Lab Cooling Tower The Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (Jefferson Lab) is seeking sources to install four (4) cooling tower cells and associated piping, controls and electrical work at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (TJNAF). Contract award will be based on low price, technically acceptable. The project consists of installing a new condenser water system for the Test Lab. The existing cooling towers and pumps will be demolished as part of the project. Included in the project are four pumps, four cooling tower cells, supply and return piping, electrical and controls. Interested Offerors need experience with construction of cooling towers, pumps and piping installation. Estimated Magnitude: $1,000,000. - $3,000,000. Schedule: Solicit Proposals September 2009 Award Subcontract October 2009 Construction November 2009 If your company has experience comparable to this project and you are interested in competing for award, please register for this requirement on the Jefferson Lab Solicitation Bulletin Board. All registered firms will automatically receive an email when the Request for Proposal is posted. This procurement is being considered for set-aside for small business concerns; therefore, interested firms must include with their submission information regarding their size status in relation to U. S. Small Business Administration criteria- NAICS code 237110. If adequate interest from qualified small business concerns is not received, the solicitation will be full and open competition, without further notice.
