Description
The contractor shall provide all material, labor, equipment, permits, appurtenances, and supervision necessary to remove and replace the existing steam boilers for the designed hot water boilers. This requirement is for a proposal leading to issuance of a delivery order under a competitively awarded Job Order Contract (JOC) for the Oklahoma City Area Indian Health Service. The contractor is Centennial Contractors Enterprises with a field office in Edmond, Oklahoma. The construction is on an occupied health care facility that must remain fully operational during construction. The contractor must plan and schedule work with the project manager to maintain full services to all occupied areas and limit any disruptions. The project will be broken into two phases: -Phase one. The first phase will remove half of the existing heating water system. Installation of all the new boilers, I water heater, I stean1 boiler, 2 heating water pumps and associated piping will be installed to provide heating water to the hospital. -Phase two. Once the new system is functional, the rest of the existing water system will be removed. The second phase will include a new deaerator, a second water heater, the third heating water pump, chemical feeder system, condensate pumps, blow down separator, exhaust fans and all associated piping, duct, etc. A major component of the project is the installation of DOC controls which are totally compatible to the Hospital's current system. All major• water heating and cooling equipment associated with the main physical plant will be connected to the control system. Furnish labor and material to install a DOC control system to tie into the existing Siemens Apogee system for the above project per the plans and specifications previously mentioned above. Detailed and comprehensive Commissioning and Testing and Balancing of the new work will be required. Additionally, detailed and comprehensive training of the Hospital's Facility Management staff will be required. The magnitude of this construction requirement is between $500,000 and $1 Million. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL BE ISSUED. THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE AWARDED BY ISSUANCE OF A DELIVERY ORDER UNDER AN EXISTING IDIQ CONTRACT. THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND REQUIRED BECAUSE FUNDING IS PROVIDED UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009.
