Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Augusta GA, VISN 7, contemplates negotiation of sole source procurement with Stanley Security Solutions, 1901 Montreal Rd, Tucker GA 30084. Stanley Security will install SEDA emergency door alarm devices in the psychiatric inpatient unit of the VA Medical Center as specified by the National Association of Psychiatric Health Systems (NAPHS). The period of performance for this procurement will be September 28, 2009 through December 23, 2009. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 238290 with a size standard of $14.0 mil. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, the government will consider all proposals received within 3 days after publication of this synopsis. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature, detailing how their products/services meet VA requirements to the Contracting Officer by fax 478-274-5588. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
