Description

List of items to be procured. The National Institute on Aging, IRP, intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a competitive basis for the purchase of Institutional Furniture Mfg., as itemized in Attachment A. This notice may represent the only official notice. This is a Simplified Acquisition with the estimated value of less than $100,000.00 threshold. This acquisition is being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All proposals received prior to September 21, 2009, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 337127 and the business size standard is 500. All Mandatory Government Sources are being checked and waivers obtained as applicable. The National Institute on Aging requires the following equipment: Item code and description: See Attachment "A" Only electronic offers will be accepted.
