COUIRIER SERVICE QUESTIONS. QUESTION NBR. 1: What is the response due date? RESPONSE: The response date is 14 September 2009. QUESTION NBR 2: Can the response date be extended? RESPONSE: The response date of 14 September will not be extended. QUESTION NBR. 3 What is the contract value of the existing courier service contract? RESPONSE: $7,750.00 for the performance period, October 1, 2008 to September 2009. QUESTION NBR 4. Can you provide a complete statement of work for this solicitation? RESPONSE: The statement of work is located within the solicitation. QUESTION NBR. 5. Please provide the complete address of the pick-up and the deliveries: RESPONSE: Pick-up at: USAF Academy Pharmacy, 8119 Park Drive, USAFA, CO 80840 Deliver to: Evans U.S. Army Hospital Pharmacy, 7500 Cochrane Dr., Room 213, Fort Carson, CO 80913 Fort Carson Commissary Pharmacy, 635 Wetzel Ave, Fort Carson, CO 80913. Peterson AFB Refill Center, 1030 E. Stewart Ave, Bldg 2017, Peterson AFB, CO 80914. QUESTION NBR 6. Can you provide the quote sheets including the amount of trips per year? RESPONSE: The request for quote sheets must be requested at the following address: foia@carson.army.mil. The number of trips is 250. QUESTION NBR 7: Who is the incumbent contractor? RESPONSE: Express Messenger Systems, Inc, Phoenix, AZ 85034 QUESTION NBR 8: How big are the totes? RESPONSE: There are three tote sizes: (L x W x H) Large (27.5 x 20.5 x 14.5) Medium (25 x 25 x 13.5) Small ( 19.75 x 11.5 x 7) QUESTION NBR 9: How many totes in a day? RESPONSE: The maximum daily numbers are: 20-Large 3-Medium 3-Small QUESTION NBR 10: Are the totes sealed? RESPONSE: No QUESTION NBR 11: Can the contractor be located in Canada? RESPONSE: Yes UESTION NBR 12: Please provide the amount of trips. RESPONSE: The number of annual trips is approximately 250. QUESTION NBR 13: What are the pick-up times and delivery locations? RESPONSE: See the paragraph 4.1 of statement of work located in the solicitation. QUESTION NBR 14: What is the pricing history? RESPONSE: Same as question number 3 above. QUESTION NBR 15: Where is the wage determination for this requirement? RESPONSE: The wage determination is 2005-2079, revision #9, dated 07/30/2009. QUESTION NUMBER 16; What is the length of the contract? RESPONSE: The proposed contract length is a one year base period, 1 October 2009 2010, with four one year option periods.
