- Mission and Installation Contracting Command, DOC, Fort Gordon GA, intends to award a Commercial Item Firm Fixed Price contract using Simplified Procurement Procedures in accordance with FAR 13 for Confinement Services. Contractor shall provide the facility, management and resources necessary to accept and provide the secure custody, care and safekeeping of military prisoners from Fort Gordon, Georgia, in accordance with federal, state and local laws, standards, policies, procedures, or court orders applicable to the operations of the facility. Prisoners shall only be accepted from and released to Fort Gordon Military Police personnel. The facility should be located no further than 50 miles from Fort Gordon, Georgia. The NAICS Code is 922140. Period of performance will be 1 year commencing 1 October 2009. The solicitation issue date is September 11, 2009 and the closing date is 11am, September 18, 2009. The Request for Quotation is for a fixed price contract and will be available on the internet Army Single Face to Industry at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi and/or Fedbizops at www.fbo.gov. Any amendments will be available on the internet only. Bidders are cautioned to check the web site periodically.
