- 101819M905 This is a notice of intent to go Sol Source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 for the following items: Item# 4S 60-60 XXSS (1/8" Stainless Steel cable, 120" long, center swivel, tree lock end) Vendor: Thompson Snares37637 Nutmeg St.Anabel, MO 63531 Hakalau Forest National Wildlife Refuge, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Haleakala National Park and The Nature Conservancy, Hawaii have all made multiple snare purchase during the past several years and all of these agencies have purchased their snares solely from the Thompson Snare Company. This is the only known company in the United States that produces stainless steel snares with sufficient strength and quality to function for several years in the rain forest environment. Thompson has a proven design including a swivel that mitigates a twisting cable for our pig control.
