- AWARD RESULTS for dry-docking of Survey vessel DONLON: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, awarded a firm fixed price Job Order under a Master Agreement for Repairs and Alterations of Vessels, for the Overhaul of the Survey boat DONLON. VESSEL INFORMATION: The DONLON is a steel-hulled survey boat that also serves as a tugboat. Her hull dimensions are: 1) Length: 53-0 2) Beam: of 19-2 3) Depth: 5-0 4) Draft loaded: 4-6 forward and 5-0 aft, and 5) Gross tonnage: 50 tons [loaded]. A portion of the work completed consisted of the following: dry-docking, providing utilities and services, hull painting, fuel tank cleaning, propulsion shaft inspection, repairs to watertight doors, hydrostatic testing of the keel coolers, and modifications to the navigation lights/mast.
