Description
The Government posts this presolicitation notice of intent to issue a task order under an established Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with the Prime Contractors presently assigned to the Sustainment, Restoration & Modernization Acquisition Task Order Contract (SATOC) which is operated by HQ AETC CONS LGCT office, c/o HQ AFCESA CONS CEKC at Tyndall AFB, FL. This notice is provided for INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY.This project calls for the following to be completed at Kaena Point Satellite Monitoring Station, HI. Project number LXHY 09-1100, Pilot Study-Wind TurbinesProject number LHXY 09-1040, Alternative Energy Evaluation The Government intends to issue a task order to one of the Prime Contractors under the SATOC IDIQ. The Prime Contractors main point of contact is listed on the attached SATOC Prime Spreadsheet (see attachment). Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact the companies listed from this form. A site visit has been scheduled for 16 September 2009. The site will be available from 0800-1630 HST (Hawaii Standard Time), contact Lance Hayashi at 808-697-4312 to schedule and coordinate escort. The number of personnel for the site visit has been limited to no more than 5 individuals per Contractor. Contractor will contact Lance Hayashi in advance to arrange to meet on the day of the site visit. Contractor MUST provide advance notice to Mr. Hayashi in order access the installation, otherwise contractors may be turned away at the gate. Each individual attending the site visit must submit the day prior to the site visit, the following information to Lance Hayashi lance.hayashi@kaenapt.af.mil : full name, associated company, time requested to meet. The time and place of the site visit may change due to mission requirements with all interested contractors being notified of said changes as they occur. All questions generated, including those during the site visit, must ! be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer for official response.
