- This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. 2) Solicitation W912P909T7148 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). 3) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR Circular 2005-11 and Class Deviation 2005-o0001. 4) The solicitation is UNRESTRICTED. 5) DESCRIPTION: Fabrication of Electrical Enclosures. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation. The basis for award will be technical acceptance, responsiveness, and price. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation requirements and will provide the best value to the government considering price only. Postal service or fax copies are required. Electronic copies are not permitted. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be 22 September 2009 at 11:00 am. This combined Synopsis/Solicitation, potential offerors are responsible to check the information at www.fedbizopps.gov./. The solicitation package will be posted on FedBizOpps, which can be accessed at www.fedbizopps.gov./. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation. Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests, for the solicitation package will not be honored. Potential offerors MUST register at the St. Louis Contracting Division Home page at http://www.mvs.usace.army.mil/ct/ct/htm and/or at www.fedbizopps.gov./ in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. The Interested Vendors List (IVL) will be activated and may be accessed and printed from the FedBizOpps web site. Prospective offerors who would like their company name included on the IVL list may do so on the Fedbizopps website under IVL. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. All interested parties MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database and have completed On-Line Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA) in order to receive a contract award.
